Partner Visa (Subclass 820 and 801) or Partner Visa (Temporary)

The Partner visa (Temporary) (subclass 820) allows you to live, work, and study in Australia. You can travel in and out of the country as needed. This visa provides access to free English language classes and Australia’s public health care system, Medicare.
If you are eligible for the permanent Partner visa (subclass 801), you must submit additional documents for assessment. The Partner visa (Temporary) (subclass 820) is a great way to start building your life in Australia and can lead to permanent residency.

Partner Visa (Permanent)

The Permanent Partner visa (subclass 801) allows you to permanently live, work, and study in Australia. You can access Medicare, sponsor eligible family members to Australia, and travel freely to and from Australia for five years. If eligible, you can also attend free English language classes through the Adult Migrant English Program and apply for Australian citizenship.
This visa grants you permanent residency on the day it is approved. Both you and your family must meet all visa conditions and comply with Australian laws. The visa allows unlimited travel within the initial 5-year period. If you wish to travel after this period, you must apply for a Resident Return visa (RRV). Key points to remember:
This visa offers extensive opportunities and rights for you and your family, including the possibility of becoming an Australian citizen after the required period of permanent residency.
